Single-Line Imagination

This computation project is inspired by the sculptures of Antony Gormley and his technique of blurring the boundary of his human figures as they seem to dissolve into space.

Using C# component of Grasshopper in Rhino, an elastic sculpture is produced by connecting a polyline through mesh vertices of two layers of the same mesh. In opposition to Antony Gormley’s strategy of suspending his sculptures with cables that fill the space, here the space is generated in the same logic as the sculpture.
